About YA Reading List:

Inspired by the Book-A-Day Almanac and Nancy Pearl's wonderful Book Lust series, as well as my own love for creating reading lists, the YA Reading List offers a daily list of reading.

Each day has a theme and all the books are published for teens or ones I think have teen appeal. Like everything else in life, not all books are appropriate for every reader.

Also, please leave recommendations for books I missed in the comments! Let's make this a place where we can all share books together.

About Jennie:

I have been a Youth Services Librarian since 2005. I have my bachelor's degree in History and Chinese Studies from Grinnell College and my MLIS from the iSchool at University of Maryland.

I was an invited presenter at the Maryland Library Association's Annual Conference presenting on what's New and Noteworthy in YA Lit and Multicultural and International Books for Teens.

I was a member of the 2013 committee for the YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults and am currently the Chair of the committee for Outstanding Books for the College Bound.

I review books at Biblio File and talk about library programming at Library Noise.

Disclaimer Stuff:

I'm an Amazon Associate. If you access Amazon from one of my links, and buy something (it doesn't even have to be what I linked to), I'll get a small commission. I'm extremely grateful for your support.
